OUTLINE

All-risk insurance, also known as all-perils insurance or open-perils insurance, is a comprehensive type of insurance coverage that offers protection against a wide range of risks and perils, except those explicitly excluded in the policy. Unlike specific-risk policies that cover only named perils (e.g., fire, theft, or flood), all-risk insurance provides broader coverage, encompassing a variety of potential hazards.

DETAILS AND BENEFITS

1. Accidental damage: All-risk insurance covers accidental damage to insured property. This can include damage to buildings, structures, contents, and other assets caused by unexpected events.
2. Fire: All-risk insurance includes coverage for losses and damages resulting from fires, whether they are minor incidents or more significant disasters.
3. Theft: Theft-related losses, including burglary and robbery, are generally covered under all-risk insurance.
Vandalism: Damage caused by acts of vandalism and malicious mischief is usually covered. Other risk covered are: natural disasters, water damage, falling objects, accidental breakage, power surges, business interruption and equipment breakdown.
